Blue Crane Tattoo is a private studio based in Knowle, Solihull, West Midlands. The studio was founded and is run by husband-and-wife team, Daniel and Alex Flower. Together, we’ve built a welcoming space where clients can bring their ideas to life through custom tattoo art.
Daniel specialises in black and grey realism, with a particular passion for Japanese-inspired designs. Blending years of realism with traditional Japanese elements, he especially enjoys tattooing:

Why 'Blue Crane Tattoo?'
Daniel is originally from South Africa, where the Blue Crane is the national bird. Known for their beauty and grace, Blue Cranes are also admired in Xhosa culture, where they symbolise warriors, heroism, and bravery—values that resonate with the themes we love to tattoo. On our trips across South Africa, we’ve always loved spotting these majestic birds, which made the name feel like the perfect fit.
